Friday, May 29th was a lucky day for me. I spoke with my favorite author, Brian Tracy, to a packed audience at Metropolitan Hotel in downtown Vancouver. It was part of a iLearning Global event. I spoke first for about 15 to 20 minutes, followed by Brian Tracy who spoke for about 40 to 45 minutes. It was great!
On the same day we got word that on the previous night on Thursday, May 28 in New York at the world's largest book convention, BookExpo, that The Power of Giving won the Nautilus Gold Award for the category social change/activism/peaceful solutions.
The Nautilus Book Awards recognize and reward world-changing books. This is the 9th annual award. Past winners include: His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle. An experienced team of book reviewers, librarians, authors, editors, bookstore owners, and leaders in the publishing industry carefully select the finalists and winners in a three-tiered judging process.
I was so grateful for the wonderful blessings of that day. I believe it all began with living a life of giving and writing a book about it!
